Shipping & Pickup Policy

In Store Click & Collect

All of our products are available for pickup from our shop in KailuaTown.

Opening times:

Monday  By Appointment Only

Tuesday- Friday  10am-5pm

Sat  & Sun 10-4pm 

Collection location/date/time is chosen at checkout in the note section please.

We require a 3 day lead time on all products to ensure they are ready for collection on your chosen date/time. A pickup ready email will be sent to you upon processing of each order. If you need your items sooner, please call our bakery to arrange for faster service. (808) 892-5756. 

National Delivery

We offer national delivery for all our collections offered. Some cakes are will not ship will and are noted in product description. 

All orders are sent with USPS delivery with tracking provided.

Free delivery on orders over $100.00.

We dispatch products on Tuesday/Wednesday/Thursday.

Return & Exchange Policy

What is your general refund policy as a small business? Unfortunately nothing like Costco. We are small and support other small artisans. 

Perishable, baked and decorated  by our skilled staff,  our refund policy is as follows:

  • If you do not pick up your order, we do not give a refund. If you need it at a later date,  you must contact us within 48 hours of missed pickup or you will have to pay for both. We cannot resell any product that is not picked up by the customer.  

  • If there is a defect in your product please return it promptly, or the portion remaining, within 2 days of pick up.   In this case we will provide you a proportionate refund for the amount returned if we determine there is a quality deficiency.  We retain the right to judge our product quality for ourselves.  Please send an email to us at

  • Purchases from our bakery case are considered perishable items and require refrigeration after purchase unless devoured within 24 hours. Most products contain greek yogurt and like a gallon of milk, will spoil if left on the counter for days.  We do not offer refunds on your mishap, though we are sad for it. If your items have issues and are maintained in the freezer or refrigerator within the guaranteed fresh dates, please send photo and email to We do not bake with preservatives, though everything is baked fresh daily we don't anticipate issues. However, there is no such thing as never ever and we will make up for any issue. 

  • If you purchase one of our products and your dog just doesn't care for it, then we hope you try something different next time; however, a refund will not be given.

  • Cancellations and/or changes for celebration cake orders, must be made at least 1 business day in advance of the scheduled pick up time.  Store credit will be issued for cancellations received with proper notice.  Your store credit expires one year from the date of issue. No cash refunds.

  • Custom Cakes – Please be sure you want the cake before placing the order. Changes may be made to the decoration of the cake with 2 business days notice.  NO REFUNDS OR STORE CREDIT.

  • No refund will be given ever for an amount in excess of the original purchase price regardless of circumstance. All items require a receipt at the time of refund and/or equal to order number.


Exceptions / non-returnable items
Certain types of items cannot be returned, like perishable goods (such as cakes, pastries and specialty items), custom products (such as special orders or personalized items), and personal care goods (such as brushes, toothpaste). . Please get in touch if you have questions or concerns about your specific item.

Unfortunately, we cannot accept returns on sale items or gift cards.

Dogtown Bakery  reserves the right to modify its exchange/return policy at any time.

All other items such as harnesses, apparel, toys and treats are subjected to our 14 day return policy. Such time allows for fitting and sizing. Any return within 14 days must accompany a receipt or store credit will be offered. Should the item be on sale, the lesser of the amount will be provided without a receipt.  All returns require original tags in the original condition and unworn.

Holiday apparel, toys and treats are not returnable under any circumstance.
